Tigers are the largest cats in the world.
Description
Tigers can reach a length of up to 3.3 metres (11 feet) and weigh as much as 300 kilograms. Tigers have the largest teeth of the cat family.
Habitat
Most tigers use to live in all Asia. They are found in rainforests and grasslands.Tigers lived in Asia but now they live only in Southeast Asia. The largest tiger population is in India.
Diet
Tigers eat deer, pig, buffalo and sometimes fish and rabbits. Tigers can eat up to 20 kgs of meat a week. Tigers eat about 50 deer per year.
Other facts
Tiger cubs leave their mother when they are 2 years old. Tigers have been known to reach speeds up to 65 kph. Tigers can easily jump over 5 metres.
